Jessica Rose Gutierrez Moreno Identified as Woman Killed in Nipomo Crash

NIPOMO, CA (March 22, 2022) – Jessica Rose Gutierrez Moreno was identified as the driver who was killed on Thursday near Nipomo during pursuit by authorities. The March 17 crash occurred on Bonita School Road, near Division Street and to the south of it.
The time was roughly 8:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, an officer from Guadalupe Police began to pursue a car that was reported stolen in San Luis Obispo. Not long after the pursuit began, the person who was driving the suspected stolen car crashed into a pole along the roadway.
The driver died at the crash site. She was later identified as Gutierrez Moreno, a resident of Santa Maria, 28 years old.
Investigators are continuing their work on the incident.
