Car and Big Rig Crash in Santa Fe Springs; One Person Killed

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (January 20, 2022) – Early in the evening on Sunday in Santa Fe Springs, a car and a big rig collided, killing one person. The January 2 crash occurred on Excelsior Drive.
The time was roughly 7:15 p.m., according to Whittier Police.
No details have been reported on the circumstances of the crash. According to reports, when officers came to the crash site, they found a car–which has not been described–beneath the back end of the big rig.
One person died in the crash. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
