Ventura Hit-and-run Crash Kills Pedestrian on Harbor Blvd.; Driver Sought

VENTURA, CA (January 10, 2022) – Early in the morning on Friday in Ventura, a hit-and-run driver killed a pedestrian. The January 7 crash occurred on Harbor Boulevard, in an area between Vista Del Mar Drive and Sanjon Road.
The time was roughly a little after 5:00 a.m., according to Ventura Police.
Responders received reports of a person down on the ground, and when they arrived, they found the victim in the roadway at San Buenaventura State Beach. Responders pronounced the victim deceased at the crash site.
His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, which has not been described, and the suspect hit-and-run driver.
