Girl–4 years old–Struck and Killed in Victorville Grocery Store Parking Lot

VICTORVILLE, CA (October 18, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon in Victorville, a 4-year-old girl was struck in killed. The October 16 crash occurred in the parking lot of Vons grocery store, located at 12199 Hesperia Road.
The time was roughly 3:28 p.m., Victorville Fire Department said.
A vehicle–which has not been described–backed over the girl, for reasons that are not known, according to Victorville Police. Responders transported her to Desert Valley Hospital.
The girl died in the hospital. She was a resident of Apple Valley. Her family has not been identified in reports.
The driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. The driver has also not been identified in reports.
