BONITA, CA (September 29, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> Four vehicles collided early in the morning on Tuesday in Bonita, causing injuries. The September 28 crash occurred on State Route 54 on the westbound side of the roadway.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 1:00 a.m., San Diego Fire-Rescue said.<\/p>\n

None of the vehicles involved in the crash has been described. The sequence in which each vehicle was involved in the crash has also not been described.<\/p>\n

One of the vehicles may have overturned in the crash, according to reports.<\/p>\n

Responders from San Diego Fire-Rescue and the California Highway Patrol arrived to offer help.<\/p>\n

Responders transported one person to the hospital. The types of injuries she suffered were described as minor.<\/p>\n

According to the California Highway Patrol, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Her identity–including name, age, and city of residence–has not been reported.<\/p>\n

The other drivers involved in the crash have also not been identified. Reports do not say if anyone else was hurt in the crash.<\/p>\n

Investigators are working to understand the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n
