The September 27 crash occurred on Comanche Drive.<\/p>\n<p>According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle&#8211;which has not been described&#8211;was heading south on Comanche Drive. A pedestrian walked into the roadway, and the vehicle struck her.<\/p>\n<p>The pedestrian died at the crash site. She was identified as a resident of Arvin, 72 years old. Her name has not been reported.<\/p>\n<p>The driver stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with investigators. She was identified as 17 years old.
