SAN DIEGO, CA (March 2, 2022) \u2013<\/strong> On Tuesday night in San Diego, a pedestrian was struck and injured in the Lincoln Park area. The March 1 crash occurred on 47th Street.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 9:15 p.m., San Diego Police said.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, the pedestrian was going across 47th Street on a diagonal when a vehicle struck him. The suspect driver did not stop to help the victim, but fled the crash site.<\/p>\n

Responders transported the patient to a hospital. The types of injuries he suffered, and current condition, are not known.<\/p>\n

He was identified only as 27 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.<\/p>\n

The suspect driver has not been described. The person is being sought by investigators on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.<\/p>\n

Investigators are continuing their work on the crash.<\/p>\n
