BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 12, 2022) \u2013<\/strong> Early in the morning on Tuesday in Bakersfield, a pedestrian was struck and killed. The January 11 crash occurred on Kentucky Street in the 1400 block.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 5:56 a.m., Bakersfield Police said.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, the person had been in the road and not within a crosswalk when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n

The vehicle that struck the woman has not been described.<\/p>\n

Responders pronounced the victim deceased at the crash site. Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.<\/p>\n

The person who had been driving the vehicle stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. The identity of the driver has not been reported.<\/p>\n
