The November 18 crash occurred close to Pacific Highway.<\/p>\n<p>The time was roughly a little before 8:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.<\/p>\n<p>For reasons that are not known, a person was walking across the lanes of the southbound freeway. A vehicle struck the person, who died in the crash. The identity of the person has not been reported.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle that struck the pedestrian has not been described, nor has the driver been identified.
