IRVINE, CA (November 15, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> Early in the morning on Sunday in Irvine, multiple vehicles collided in the 5 Freeway, killing one person and injuring others. The November 14 crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway, close to Yale Avenue.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 2:12 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.<\/p>\n

No details have been reported on the exact number of vehicles that crashed, nor has a description of all the vehicles been provided. One vehicle was described as a black sedan.<\/p>\n

The manner in which the crash occurred, and the sequence that affected each vehicle, are also not yet known.<\/p>\n

Responders arrived and found one person was killed in the crash. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.<\/p>\n

Responders transported three people to hospitals in the area. The types of injuries they suffered, and their current condition, are not known. None of the patients have been identified.<\/p>\n
