BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 10, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> Benly Nic Nanthavong was identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as the man who was killed in a crash on Friday in Bakersfield. The November 5 crash occurred on Highway 58, close to Claymine Road.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 2:40 a.m., the Coroner’s Office said.<\/p>\n

Two vehicles–which have not been described–collided. The manner in which the crash occurred has also not been described.<\/p>\n

Responders arrived and found that a person–who was later identified as Nanthavong–died at the crash site. He was a resident of Stockton, 27 years old.<\/p>\n

It is not known if the driver in the other vehicle was injured. The person has not been identified in reports.<\/p>\n

Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened. They are in the process of collecting information.<\/p>\n
