SAN DIEGO, CA (October 25, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> Early in the morning on Saturday in Pacific Beach, a pedestrian was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver. The October 23 crash occurred on Grand Avenue close to Kendall Street.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 1:00 a.m., San Diego Police said.<\/p>\n

The pedestrian had been walking on Grand Avenue, and a vehicle–described as an SUV, white in color–struck her. The driver did not stop to help the injured woman, but fled the crash site.<\/p>\n

It is not known if the victim was walking across the street when the vehicle struck her.<\/p>\n

Responders transported her to a hospital. She suffered injuries that have not been described.<\/p>\n

Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.<\/p>\n

Investigators with the Traffic Division of the San Diego Police Department are collecting information and details about the crash to locate the vehicle involved, and the suspect hit-and-run driver. If anyone has information about the crash, the person can contact police.<\/p>\n
