PACOIMA, CA (October 22, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> Eduardo Silva was identified by family as the motorcyclist who was killed on Saturday in a Pacoima hit-and-run crash. The October 16 crash occurred on Laurel Canyon Boulevard close to Judd Street.<\/p>\n

Authorities with the Los Angeles Police said Silva had been riding a Kawasaki Motorcycle, which crashed head-on with a vehicle described as a Toyota Corolla.<\/p>\n

The impact from the crash threw Silva from the motorcycle. While Silva was down, a vehicle–described as a sedan, white in color–hit him. The driver of the white car did not remain at the crash site, but fled the scene.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Toyota remained on scene. The person has not been identified in reports.<\/p>\n

Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash, and the suspect driver.<\/p>\n
