VICTORVILLE, CA (October 18, 2021) \u2013<\/strong> On Saturday afternoon in Victorville, a 4-year-old girl was struck in killed. The October 16 crash occurred in the parking lot of Vons grocery store, located at 12199 Hesperia Road.<\/p>\n

The time was roughly 3:28 p.m., Victorville Fire Department said.<\/p>\n

A vehicle–which has not been described–backed over the girl, for reasons that are not known, according to Victorville Police. Responders transported her to Desert Valley Hospital.<\/p>\n

The girl died in the hospital. She was a resident of Apple Valley. Her family has not been identified in reports.<\/p>\n

The driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. The driver has also not been identified in reports.<\/p>\n
